I went to church this morning. I love to go to church, I guess you could say growing up I was a church girl... strayed away and found my way back in the church :) When I wasn't in church, started hanging out with the wrong crowd that's when all my problems started. I'm back, and that's all that matters. Today, a couple of old friends from the church was there. Old friends I use to hang out with when I wasn't in church. Trey, Andy and Daeshuan. They are all my ex-boyfriend's cousins... it was awkward seeing them there, and especially Daeshuan, I'm not too fond of him because he tried to rape me when my ex wasn't around. Seeing them reminded me that I'm glad I don't have to hang out with them no more, go down the same streets, and do the things I use to do. I feel like I've matured in the Lord, and I've come too far too look back. I feel like that old song, "If anybody ask you, what's the matter with me... just tell them I'm SAVED, SANTiFiED, I've got the holy ghost spirit and I've been baptized, and I've got Jesus on my side, I'm running for my life." I feel that sometimes, you just have to go through something and it'll make you appreciate God even more. I know God keeps on doing great things for me, there's times when I should of and could of been dead but I was saved by God's mercy and grace.

Hi HoneyMamii! Ok, so today I'm adding you to my "blog buddies" list. :) I'M SOOO GLAD to hear you went back. I too was brought up in the church. I'm talking Tuesday night service, Friday night Youth Group, Saturday Choir, Sunday Morning, Afternoon, AND Evening. It was my life...and I was sooo happy!! Today I don't go to church regularly...but God has given me this Joy....alot to do with the Love he's blessed me with =) ......but furthermore.....Its His Spirit that walks thru me.....that keeps me whole. I am BLESSED beyond measure.....and if we all don't make it to church.....I just want it to be known, that church in your heart.....church in your home .......reading his word.....can sustain you. "SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND ALL ELSE SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU." :) God bless you Honey!!
